How to Change or Cancel your DVSA Driving Test

It is possible to change or cancel your DVSA driving test.

At the time of writing, it was free to make a DVSA test change because of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The DVSA change test service is available at GOV.UK. You can use the service if you wish to:

  • Change the test centre where you plan to take your test
  • Change your appointment because you cannot make it

 

Before you begin your dvsa test cancellations or changes you will need the following items with you:

  • Your UK driving licence number
  • Your theory test pass certificate number or your driving test reference number

 

Number of Times you can Change your Appointment

You can change the date, time, or location of your test up to 10 times. If you find that you need to make another dvsa driving test change, you’ll need to cancel the test. If you need to rebook the test, you will have to pay.

 

DVSA Driving Test Cancellations

To cancel your driving test, you will need to have the following items with you:

  • Your UK driving licence number
  • Your theory test pass certificate number or your driving test reference number
